About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Buyer to join a leading multinational in the food production sector. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality berries and related products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-efficient procurement across European markets. This role involves close collaboration with Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure berries and berry-based products for food production
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers across Europe
- Negotiate contracts and optimize costs while maintaining quality standards
- Work closely with internal teams, including Production, Logistics, and Quality Assurance
- Monitor market trends and recommend sourcing strategies
Requirements:
- Proven procurement experience in the food or beverage industry
- Knowledge of fruit or agricultural supply chains
- Fluent in English (advanced level required) and German
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel within Europe as needed
