Regional Sales Manager Americas

A multinational company focused on the food industry is seeking to add a Regional Sales Manager Americas to its team.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to expand our customer base and increase product sales across the Americas. You will focus on driving sales to distributors and the food industry, managing a B2B channel.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Achieve sustainable and profitable growth with regional and local key accounts, leveraging the company's strengths.
  • Drive sustainable business opportunities that contribute to our clients’ success while differentiating us from competitors.
  • Provide technical support, product development, and tailored value propositions for strategic markets and clients across the Americas.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives for the region.
  2. Market Analysis: Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities across the Americas to identify growth opportunities.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities, including expansion into emerging markets and segments.
  5. Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of company products to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
  6. Sales Forecasting: Develop budgets and sales forecasts, monitoring results against set objectives.
  7. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and analyses to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  9. Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and events across the Americas, promoting products and building strategic connections.
  10. Geographic Coverage: Oversee markets across North, Central, and South America, managing a team located in each area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales and account management within the food and beverage sector, with at least 5 years in international markets, especially in the Americas.
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work in multicultural environments.
  • Proficiency in sales tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in technical sales of company products.
  • Availability for frequent travel within the region.
  • Bilingual in English (required).
  • Residence in the Americas.
